			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Born in China and educated in Hong Kong and the U.S., James Chan (陈华江) founded his consulting practice in 1983 after he had succeeded in exporting American-made products to China, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich (HBJ), a Fortune 500 publishing company. He has advised more than 100 technology, manufacturing, publishing, and association clients on business strategies including the promotion and marketing of American goods and services in Asia and management of partners, customers, and suppliers.</p>
<p>Dr. James Chan was the first person the American Management Association (AMA) commissioned in 1996 to create and lead a three-day course titled &#8220;Business Skills for the China Market.&#8221; There, he began his extensive mentoring and coaching experience with Fortune 1000 executives in New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, San Diego and Brussels, Belgium.</p>
<p>Dr. Chan is a member of the Greater Philadelphia Senior Executives Group (GPSEG) a professional association of 1,000 senior-level executives. He is a member of the Philadelphia District Export Council of the U.S. Department of Commerce, and a long-time member of the 200-person Mid-Atlantic Consultants Network in Philadelphia.</p>
<p>An animated public speaker in three languages &#8212; English, Mandarin Chinese (putonghua) and Cantonese &#8212; James Chan received his Ph.D. in Chinese geography from the University of Michigan in 1977, M.A. from the University of Chicago in 1973, and B.A. from the University of Hong Kong in 1970.</p>
<p>He is the author of the book, Spare Room Tycoon on how executives can turn their personal passion into viable businesses that reflect the final stage of accomplishment: self realization.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Founded in 1982, Liko successfully set up its very<br />
first office in Central. In the early days, Liko&#8217;s main<br />
business was engaged in advertising design.</p>
<p>As Hong Kong experienced rapid economic growth<br />
in the 80s, Liko also enjoyed a big leap rise in its<br />
advertising accounts. In early 90s, the company<br />
finally settled in the place where it is now &#8211; Kau U<br />
Fong. Since then, Liko has actively participated in<br />
exploring the Mainland market. By gone 22 years<br />
and here we got a handful of advertising experience,<br />
which is the core reason for our successfulness in<br />
organizing marketing campaign.</p>
<p>Among the successful projects of Liko, one should<br />
include is the &#8220;Buy and Save Campaign&#8221; for Wing<br />
Wah Food Manufacturing Co. during the pre Mid-<br />
Autumn Festival of 1990, 1991 and 1992. The<br />
campaign won the No.1 spot for Wing Wah<br />
Mooncake in three consecutive years and got many<br />
positive feedback from the sponsors.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Liko also actively participated in the<br />
property boom of the 90s which saw many money<br />
influx to the advertising industry. We are particularly<br />
good at organizing overseas and Mainland property<br />
advertising campaign.</p>
<p>Not only did Liko take part in design but also agency<br />
services. In 2000, Liko started to be the advertising<br />
agency of various mainland magazines.</p>
<p>So far we have got the exclusive right of representing<br />
Shenzhen Airlines In-flight Magazine. That&#8217;s open a<br />
new page to our company.</p>
<p>As the economy is restructuring in recent years, Liko<br />
has therefore set its sights on Mainland China, setting<br />
up our branch offices in various cities of Guangdong<br />
Province.</p>
<p>Apart from our advertising design and agency services,<br />
Liko also set up retail stores to enhance the promotion<br />
of our food products clients. Now we have branches in<br />
Foshan, Nanhai and Shunde. We are now planning a<br />
new office in Guangzhou, to explore the new potential<br />
market.
